Gay Activists Celebrate Ruling

UNITED STATES, Colorado, Denver – Gay-rights activists are celebrating a Boulder judge's ruling. K-M-G-H T-V reports that the names of two lesbian partners can appear on the birth certificate for the child one of them is bearing. The ruling makes both women legally the child's parents.

Activists are thrilled because the children of gay and lesbian couples will now be eligible for their parents' health coverage, inheritance rights, and other such privileges.
